Users can now subscribe to incoming call notifications via the bell icon's notification settings in the top right corner of the platform. These notifications are deactivated by default. When subscribed to inbox notifications and the platform is open in a browser, a notification sound will play. Email and push notifications are sent immediately, allowing users to join calls instantly.

OPERATORSERVICE PROVIDER

The chat message notification has been enhanced. From now on, users will also be informed about uploaded files in the chat and newly created whiteboards. These changes have been incorporated into the existing workflow, so there is no need to subscribe to an additional notification workflow.

SERVICE PROVIDER

In the past, an automatic factory reset was carried out on the Edge Device when it was handed from the Service Provider to an Operator (e.g., when accepting an Asset Proposal or upgrading an "unconnected" machine to "connected"). These automatic factory resets have been removed from the respective workflows so devices can be configured as required by the Operator at an earlier point in time.

The downgrade workflows are not affected by this change.

APPLICATION PROVIDEROPERATOR

It is now possible to define the minimum required version of the Edge Device operating system for each application version during registration. The required version is shown on the Application Detail page, and installations and updates are handled accordingly.
