Operator - Asset Tags

The Asset Tags tab can be used to create, delete and edit Tags that can be used for tagging and sorting Assets as well as to create, delete and manage Facilities that can be additionally used for granting Access/Scope for users.





A click on the Asset Tags dropdown menu displays a list of Tag types to assign to your asset.

You can choose which Tags are displayed in the center of the page by choosing an entry from the Asset Tags dropdown list.

Available Tags are:

  • Building
  • Facility
  • Line
  • Region

The list of facilities is displayed along with the name and ID of each facility.

Facilities have a outstanding feature compared to all other Asset Tags. It is possible to grant user access ("Scope") based on the created facilities in the user management. See Access Management.

  • Sort the list by using the buttons in the top row.
  • Search for a certain term within a respective column using the filter button  and typing something into the search field.

  • Customize the displayed columns by clicking on .
    • Check the entries from the list of columns to be displayed in the overview.
    • Align the sequence of the entries by dragging & dropping the entries in your desired order.

The selections will be permanently stored for your user and can be reset to factory setting by clicking .


Edit existing Asset Tag / Facility

  • In order to edit an existing Asset Tag or an existing Facility, click the edit button at the end of the respective entry.

Delete existing Asset Tag / Facility

  • In order to delete an existing Asset tag or an Facility, click the delete button at the end of the respective entry and confirm via CONFIRM.

Create new Asset Tag / Facility

  • To create a new Asset Tag or a new Facility, click on the floating action button  /  on bottom right corner of the the Asset Overview page.
  • Enter an identifier (i.e. a country), then click .

Looking for labels? They can now be found in the details panel on the floating action bar.
