Subscriptions

In the Subscriptions module, machine license subscription data of connected and unconnected customer machines can be centrally accessed.

Subscriptions per month can be browsed, ordered and filtered and the results can optionally be exported and downloaded.

If already available, the invoice for the selected billing period (month) can be accessed.

 

The relevant data will be available here from 01.09.2025, when the updated billing model comes into effect. Further details can be found in the SaaS agreement.

A new permission “Billing Admin” is needed to access the new license subscription view. This can be assigned to arbitrary users by the tenant admin.

Overview of machine license subscriptions.

Connected:

  • All machines are licensed as connected that are paired with an Edge Device (Machine State = connected).

Unconnected:

  • All machines are licensed as unconnected that are

    • NOT paired to an Edge Device

    • (as a customer machine) NOT linked to an asset of the customer (Machine State = NEW or PROPOSED)

The total number of connected and unconnected license subscriptions will be billed on a monthly base by symmedia according to the active SaaS agreement and / or individual agreements.

  • Search for a certain term within a respective column using the filter button

    and typing something into the search field.

 

  • Choose a specific month by clicking on the date chooser

    or click on arrows to swipe left and right.

  • If the current month is selected, the displayed results can be taken as forecast for the current billing period.

  • Export the list of licenses to XLS by clicking on

    .

  • Select the columns you want to add to your export file by checking the respective entries and click on

    .

An XLS file is then downloaded to your computer.

  • Customize the displayed columns by clicking on

    .

    • Check the entries from the list of columns to be displayed in the overview.

    • Align the sequence of the entries by dragging & dropping the entries in your desired order.

The selections will be permanently stored for your user and can be reset to factory setting by clicking
