Required Components

Components required for mounting the DIN rail bracket:

symmedia Plug&Work Box smart

Top-hat rail terminal with fixing screws

Phillips and hexagon socket wrenches

Components Installation

  • Place the symmedia Plug&Work Box smart on the cooling fins and place the DIN rail holder on top.

  • Align the symmedia Plug&Work Box smart and screw the two Phillips screws into the outer drill holes.
The symmedia Plug&Work Box smart can now be mounted flat on the DIN rail.
  • To mount the symmedia Plug&Work Box smart sideways in the control cabinet, loosen the top-hat rail clamp with a hexagon socket wrench while fixing the lock nut with pliers.

  • Fasten the DIN rail bracket with the nut from the outside in the drill hole on the side. As described in steps 1 and 2: Place the symmedia Plug&Work Box smart on the cooling fins, place the bracket, align it and screw the two Phillips screws into the outer drill holes.

The symmedia Plug&Work Box smart can now be mounted on the side of the DIN rail.
